Gucci and Pomellato have joined forces to create Monili, their high jewellery collaboration and collection.
The collaboration sees the Italian Luxury fashion brand and jewellery company – which are both under the Kering umbrella – reflect their shared philosophy of craftsmanship. It blends Gucci’s leather craftsmanship with Pomellato’s renowned expertise in goldsmithing and gem-setting.
According to the Gucci website, Monili, which translates from Italian to “jewels”, “speaks to the collection’s poetic spirit and enduring refinement.
“Defined by balance, contrast, and intention, it embodies clarity of form and a contemporary vision of timeless design. Sculptural silhouettes and signature codes are reimagined in gold, diamonds, and rich leather.”
The website also reveals that the collaboration was inspired by Pomellato’s archival designs from 1984 and “brings together essential forms and precious materials in a series of distinctive pieces”
The collection is comprised of bracelets, a soft clutch, and a minaudière. “Each design is shaped by a softened, continuous line, brought to life through meticulous artistry and considered detail.”
Gucci debuted the high-jewellery collection back in May during the brand’s 2026 Cruise runway show in Florence.
