Well, Alohomora! Independent Swiss watchmaker Kross Studio has collaborated with Warner Bros. on a limited-edition collectors set of watches, inspired by the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
Having already unleashed a set of House of the Dragon timepieces to coincide with the programme’s second series, the pop culture watch specialist has just announced a new super limited-edition tourbillon watch inspired by all the action of a Quidditch match plus a music box that plays John Williams’ iconic ‘Hedwig’s Theme’.

The new Harry Potter Central Floating Tourbillon watch by Kross Studios features four miniature characters from the stories – Harry Potter, Cho Chang, Cedric Diggory, and Draco Malfory, each robed in their house colours – attached to its tourbillon, which completes a full rotation every minute above the watch movement. Portrayed on tiny broomsticks, the characters whirl against a background designed to resemble Hogwarts’ clock tower, as if chasing an elusive Golden Snitch.
Crafted from 18K gold, each teeny wizard or witch is just 2.79mm tall and has been meticulously hand-engraved and hand-painted in the house colours of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. The watch itself has a 42mm case and a sapphire crystal dome, allowing its extraordinary detail to be admired from every angle (whilst also protecting its tiny inhabitants like a Protego Maxima spell).

Taking the form of a mechanical music box, a functional art piece accompanies each of the limited-edition watches, playing one of the most recognisable film scores of all time. Composed by the legendary John Williams, ‘Hedwig’s Theme’ rings out in three parts, its magical-sounding chimes all powered by a mechanical hand-wound movement. Each has been made in collaboration with Swiss company REUGE, which has been producing luxurious mechanical music boxes since 1865.
Only 10 collector’s sets will be made available worldwide, each costing CHF 120,000 (about £113,000 or $149,000), so spellbound fans should act fast.
