For Challenger’s star Zendaya at this year’s Met Gala, the question was: how to upstage her incredible body armour look she wore for the premiere of Dune Part II?
If you can’t choose between one dress or the other, why not wear two? Zendaya did exactly that. Her first outfit channelled English Garden Gothic. And who better to create that dress than the godfather of avant garde fashion, John Galliano for Maison Margiela.

Zendaya wore a custom-made gown of emerald green and blue, combining branches, fruits and even a bird perched on her shoulder together with a veiled hat. She opted to keep the jewellery simple combining her bold look with Bulgari emerald earrings and an emerald and diamond ring.
Zendaya’s second outfit was elegance exemplified, channelling her inner Marie-Antoinette.

Looking graceful in a classic couture Givenchy gown by Galliano from the 1996 archive, together with an Alexander McQueen floral hat in a palette of white, pink, yellow and red roses. Once again she combined this with simple jewellery, wearing a pair of drop diamond earrings from Italian jeweller, Bulgari.
