When you’re James Bond, you’re always going to find yourself associated with a watch of some kind. With Sean Connery, it was the Rolex Submariner, but Pierce Brosnan (and his successor, Daniel Craig), will forever be associated with the Omega Seamaster. Worn in every one of his outings as 007, Brosnan also doubled as an Omega ambassador during this period, but since hanging up his Walther PPK, has shown off his eclectic taste in watches.
Occasionally wearing his own pieces in films, Brosnan’s preferences are pretty broad and unlike many stars of his calibre, he likes to get his money’s worth from a watch, as in some cases he has worn the same piece over decades.
With MobLand returning to TV screens this Friday (the show itself has a mighty watch game), it’s as good a time as any to dive into Brosnan’s own collection as well as the pieces he has worn on screen. Check out the best of Pierce Brosnan’s watches below.
Omega Seamaster 300M

Omega made it’s debut in the James Bond series at the same time as Brosnan, with 1995’s GoldenEye. The Irish actor wore a Seamaster in each of his appearances as Bond, making the watch something of a right of passage among collectors and one of the most famous watches to ever appear on-screen.
Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945

There’s a good chance this is Brosnan’s favourite watch. He reportedly bought it more than 20 years ago and has been seen wearing in movies, on the red carpet and during talk show appearances. And it’s not hard to see why. Made from 18 karat rose gold, the art deco inspired piece has a wonderfully abstract dial and is all class.
Blancpain Villeret
In recent years, Brosnan has taken to wearing a Blancpain Villeret both on screen and off, which was a gift from his wife. Brosnan’s version is a one-off as it is inscribed with the message: “Love flies on time’s wings.” He was also seen wearing it during his villainous turn in Black Adam, one of the few times he has worn a personal piece in a film.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duo

Worn throughout his incredibly stylish remake of the Steve McQueen classic, The Thomas Crown Affair, this Jaeger-LeCoultre is perfect for a millionaire thrill-seeking art thief, though, rather curiously, the JLC logo was removed in post, presumably due to Brosnan’s contract with Omega.
Panerai Luminor Reference PAM 00091
Worn in After the Sunset, making the movie turned Brosnan onto Panerai watches with the Hollywood icon admitting to buying one after wearing this Luminor for the film. Brosnan has since been spotted at public events wearing the watch, a testament to how much he loved the action-ready military watch.
Pasha de Cartier

Originally seen on Brosnan’s wrist during 1980’s TV show, Noble House, the actor must have loved the watch so much he purchased a Pasha de Cartier of his own. Interestingly, Brosnan went on to wear the watch during promotional events for Die Another Day in lieu of the Omega he wore for the film.
Omega Constellation Globemaster
Brosnan returned to Omega for his latest role in the hit show, MobLand, where he plays an Irish gangland kingpin who more or less rules London alongside his wife, played by Helen Mirren. While the character is larger than life, his taste in watches reveals quiet class and luxury, particularly with this rose gold Constellation Globemaster he wears for much of the series.
