Among the standout launches at Couture Week 2026 was Repossi’s latest evolution of its Serti sur Vide collection, a series that strips the traditional solitaire back to its essence by making the gemstone appear to float directly against the skin. The collection takes its inspiration from one of jewellery’s simplest rituals: the moment a gemologist holds a stone between their fingertips to examine its brilliance before setting it.

“The collection draws its essence from the instinctive gesture of the gemologist, who places a stone between the fingertips to observe its clarity and brilliance before setting,” a brand statement said. “This simple yet meaningful ritual inspired the Serti sur Vide, a contemporary reinvention of the timeless solitaire.”
Throughout Couture Week we noted a renewed emphasis on gemstones themselves rather than elaborate settings, and Repossi’s latest creations reflect that shift. Using the Maison’s signature “Eiffel Tower” setting, each pear-shaped diamond appears suspended on the skin, allowing light to pass through the stone and maximise its brilliance.
New additions
The collection expands with four new diamond pieces: a double ring, ear cuff, earrings and brooch. The double ring creates the illusion of diamonds floating between the fingers, building on the architectural language established by Repossi’s Twin ring. The ear cuff and earrings introduce a cascading arrangement that emphasises movement and fluidity, while the brooch has been designed as a gender-neutral piece that transitions easily from day to evening wear.
Colour takes centre stage
Repossi also introduces a new Fancy Serti sur Vide series, bringing colour into the collection through three rings and two pairs of earrings set with cushion-cut and marquise gemstones. Rather than relying on intricate design, the coloured stones themselves become the focal point.
Celebrating Place Vendôme
The launch also marks the 40th anniversary of Repossi’s Place Vendôme boutique. To celebrate the milestone, the Maison has created four exclusive pieces featuring gradients of indicolite tourmalines, green tourmalines and aquamarines. The palette was inspired by the oxidised copper tones reflected in the Vendôme Column, with the gemstones selected for the way they capture and refract light.
