From London to Paris and now New York city, the stars of Chris Nolan’s blockbuster The Odyssey have worn some seriously fabulous jewels for every premiere on their press tour. Take a closer look at all the pieces below.

It’s been a whirlwind press tour for Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated interpretation of The Odyssey, and fans have not been left disappointed by the incredible red carpet looks – including luxurious, diamond-studded jewels – pulled off by its mega-watt stars, including Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron.
The bar was set outrageously high from the outset, as both Zendaya and Anne Hathaway opted to dress on-theme and wear ancient jewellery to the official photo call for The Odyssey in London.
Zendaya, who plays the goddess Athena in the film, is clearly leaning into outfits inspired by the ancient world and rocked a heavenly, all white gown accessorised with a pair of earrings between 2,000 and 3,000 years old sourced by Barron London – the Mayfair store known for its curation of vintage treasures and objets d’art.
Her co-star Anne Hathaway, who plays Penelope, the faithful wife of Matt Damon’s Odysseus, opted for an equally ancient jewel in the form of a rose gold and diamond Bvlgari Monete Catene high jewellery secret watch, featuring a sliding cover set with a silver coin bearing the likeness of emperor Caracalla (who ruled over Rome from 198 to 211 AD with his father Septmius Severus, and then alone from 211 until he was assassinated in 217 AD).

Charlize Theron, who plays the goddess Calypso, has cleverly worn a bejewelled love letter to each city that has held a premiere for her latest blockbuster. For the New York premiere, she chose a Jean Schlumberger Hands necklace, a pair of Bird on a Rock earrings and rings, and a Jean Schlumberger Stitches ring, all by Tiffany & Co.
For the Parisian leg of the press tour, Theron nodded to the City of Lights in a custom Dior gown accessorised with a pair of Diorexquis earrings and a ring in white gold, diamonds, sapphires and blue lacquer, plus a further Diorissima double ring in pink gold and diamonds, all by Dior Joaillerie.
The star kicked things off in suitably glamorous style for the global premiere of the film in London, with a pair of long, desert diamond-set earrings by British jeweller Glenn Spiro.
Taking a cue from her goddess character in the film, Zendaya stepped onto the red carpet for the New York premiere wearing an incredible winged gown, accented with trailing diamond earrings and a 10.80-carat diamond ring, both by Chopard.
For Paris, Zendaya paired her lacy, angelic white look with the stunning ‘Miroir du Delta’ statement collar by Messika, featuring a central 14-carat tanzanite framed in white diamonds. The piece was fresh from the maker’s latest high jewellery collection, which had only just premiered at Paris Couture Week (you read more about the whole collection here).
Meanwhile, for the global premiere of The Odyssey in London, Zendaya picked an ornate collar necklace by Chopard in 18K white gold, set with 88.48 carats of white diamonds.
Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Helen of Troy and her sister Clytemnestra in the film, donned a suitably regal five-strand pearl and diamond choker and a Bengal Tiger ring in 18K gold with hand-engraved tigers set with a sapphire, both by Sabyasachi.
In Paris, Nyong’o picked a beautiful pair of 18K yellow gold and diamond ‘Branch’ earrings from the Jason Wu collection for SAUER.
At the global premiere in London, Nyong’o shone brightly in a metallic silver gown by Christian Cowan, embellished with a stunning suite of diamond jewels by Garrati Milano.
In New York, Hathway looked radiant in a Grecian-inspired gown and simple, Serpenti stud earrings a coiling Serpenti bangle by Bvlgari, for whom she is an ambassador. The Roman jeweller can also trace its origins back to Greece, with its founder Sotirio Bulgari (originally Voulgaris), who emigrated from there to Rome to open his first jewellery house.
For Paris, Hathaway chose a high jewellery Tubogas necklace in yellow gold, tanzanite and diamonds, two high jewellery rings, and high jewellery diamond earrings, again all by Bvlgari.
The star kicked the global press tour off in serene style at the film’s London premiere, accenting her sky blue gown with yet more Bvlgari jewels – this time with two high jewellery rings and a pair of high jewellery Diva’s Dream earrings in yellow gold, turquoise, tanzanites, amethysts and diamonds. Perfect for the character she portrays in the film.
