Last night saw the annual UEFA ceremony take place in Monaco with Cristiano Ronaldo honoured with a special award for being the all-time top scorer in the Champions League.
The Portugal striker, who enjoyed two separate spells with Manchester United, was, as usual, bedecked in jewels at the prestigious event.

For the occasion, the football player chose an exquisite Akh Ba Ka high jewellery brooch from Parisian jeweller Messika, constructed of white gold and set with an incredible 33-carat diamond.
Decorating his ear, meanwhile, was a single earring from the brand’s So Move collection, encrusted with a pavé of white diamonds.

Ronaldo’s significant other, Georgina Rodriguez, was also in attendance as the pair soaked up the atmosphere on a luxury yacht in shots posted to Instagram.
Rodriguez was also covered in jewels, which included a white gold Night Owl high jewellery necklace encrusted with diamonds, also from Messika, and a coordinating pair of white gold earrings.

Ronaldo, who received his award from UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin in recognition of his remarkable legacy, has scored 140 Champions League goals in 183 appearances across his time at Sporting Clube de Portugal, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
He is 11 goals clear of Lionel Messi and 46 ahead of third-placed Robert Lewandowski at the top of the scoring charts.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the brightest stars in the UEFA Champions League constellation. His extraordinary goalscoring achievements in the competition seem destined to stand the test of time, posing a remarkable challenge for future generations to surpass. His sustained excellence at the highest level is a testament to his relentless pursuit of both team and individual honours,” said UEFA’s president, Aleksander Čeferin.
“Over more than two decades, he has continuously evolved and refined his game while preserving a youthful passion for scoring and celebrating goals. His professionalism, work ethic, dedication and ability to shine on the grandest stage are qualities that football players everywhere should aspire to emulate.”
