As Henry Cavill continues to push along with his dream Warhammer movie, the Hollywood star, massive nerd and amateur BBQ enthusiast has built up a reputation as a style icon. From his immaculately tailored suits to a surprising array of hairstyles and even a moustache, the former Superman is seen as the aspiration in terms of men’s style.
That extends to his watches too. By his own admission, Cavill’s interest in watches is something that has increased in recent years with the actor fascinated by the craftsmanship behind them. That surge in interest has led to a massive upscaling by Cavill in the watch department as he embraced Jaeger-LeCoultre before inking a partnership with Longines last year.

1926 Longines Monopusher Chronograph
A museum piece that Cavill recently wore to Royal Ascot, the watch was literally taken out of the Longines museum in Saint-Imier for the event. Subtle and impeccably stylish, the prestige of Ascot was a suitable place to bring out the century old watch and is one of the few pieces you pay attention to over the top hat and tails. The Longines partnership has really taken Cavill’s watch game to another level.
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean
Cavill stuck pretty close to Omega throughout the Man of Steel press run and the Seamaster Planet Ocean was pretty much his go-to piece at this time. Offering 600m of water resistance, it’s the perfect watch for an action man like Cavill who in his various on-screen roles has crashed helicopters, blown up boats and took on the Nazis. It also has the sturdiness to cope with the intense everyday use while remaining a stunning piece of horology.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris
Cavill has been on board with Jaeger-LeCoultre since before starring in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. He wore two Second World War era JLC pieces for the film. Back in 2018 and on the media trail for Mission: Impossible: Fallout, Cavill was spotted wearing a rose gold Polaris with the actor later saying that the watch is one he tries to wear as often as possible.
Longines Spirit Zulu Time 1925
By his own admission, this is Cavill’s everyday watch and a result of his new partnership with Longines. A new piece from last year that pays tribute to the 1925 original, which was the first dual time zone watch. The 39mm piece is made from stainless steel and 18 karat rose gold and is a natural choice for someone like Cavill to have as their ordinary watch, as it has all the style and substance you’d want without being at an ultra high-end price point.
Omega De Ville Hour Vision
Frequently seen on Cavill’s wrist throughout the global press tour for Man of Steel in 2013, the 18 karat red gold watch retailed for more than $23,000 and prior to joining Longines as an ambassador, it’s fair to say Omega was probably the Witcher star’s favourite brand. Which is fitting given he’s spent 20 years being linked to James Bond, a role he has become too famous for and aged out of.
