Tiffany & Co.’s new Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste explores the mysteries of the universe for a heavenly high jewellery collection that pays homage to renowned Tiffany designer Jean Schlumberger.

The second Blue Book high jewellery collection designed by Tiffany’s chief artistic officer Nathalie Verdeille, this latest expression reworks Schlumberger’s iconic interpretations of the sun, moon, stars and fantasy worlds in seven themes: Apollo, Arrow, Constellation, Ray of Light, Iconic Star and Wings.

With Apollo, Verdeille reimagines an archival Schlumberger brooch in yellow and white diamonds. Arrow, meanwhile, is inspired by a 1941 Schlumberger Trophée de Vaillance brooch, which has been honoured in a suite of Colombian emeralds, custom cut to mimic the shape of an arrowhead.

For Wings, Verdeille chose diamonds and sapphires to pay glittering homage to Schlumberger’s signature wing silhouettes with high-carat pieces, including rings, brooches, earrings and necklaces, that evoke the mythical winged horse Pegasus.

The final chapters draw upon celestial themes: Constellation calls to mind twinkling star patterns in blue and pink sapphires set against brilliant-cut diamonds; Ray of Light is inspired by archival Schlumberger brooches with jewels that echo flaring sunshine in red spinels, while the Iconic Star chapter rounds out the offering with two suites that are characterised by inverted colours – one in diamonds contrasted with sapphires, and another comprised of blue zircons, aquamarines, mother-of-pearl and diamonds.
