The world’s most decorated gymnast, Simone Biles, has scooped the all-round gymnastics title and her second gold at the Paris Olympic Games… and celebrated her win by showing off a diamond-set goat-motif necklace on the podium.
“It’s a little ode…a lot of people love it. They always call me the GOAT [greatest of all time], so I thought it would be really special if I got one made,” Biles said of the jewel. “The haters hate it, but I like that even more. It’s just a special part of me that I have here.”
“In the [Olympic athletes’] village I have a stuffed goat. Just to get a reminder, like, ‘You can go out there, you can do it. You’ve done it before. So let go.'”

The goat pendant is a custom-made piece by Californian jeweller Janet Heller Fine Jewellery, who received the commission for the special charm from Biles herself a little over a month ago. Crafted in white gold, the GOAT necklace is embellished with 546 white diamonds and “embodies her unparalleled status in gymnastics…this piece reflects her dedication, perseverance, and the spirit that has inspired generations,” the jeweller revealed on Instagram.
It took Heller’s team approximately five weeks to create the piece, she has revealed.

Alongside her new GOAT necklace, Heller has also created a diamond-set Olympic rings necklace for Biles, “encapsulating the essence of her extraordinary career.” Seeing Simone Biles wearing her GOAT on the Olympic podium, the jeweller has said in interviews, was a thrilling experience.
“As the Paris 2024 Olympics unfold, all eyes are on Simone Biles – the GOAT both on and off the mat,” she wrote on Instagram.
