She’s played a futuristic space princess in Dune 2, a kick-ass assassin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a traumatised student in Midsommar, and the headstrong youngest March sister in Greta Gerwig’s 2019 adaptation of Little Women.
Now, Florence Pugh is embracing her latest role, as an ambassador for the house of Bvlgari.

“Becoming a Bvlgari ambassador is about more than wearing extraordinary jewellery, it’s about being part of a legacy that celebrates fearless female artistry, where every creation tells a story,” says Pugh. “I’m honoured to partner with a Maison that allows me to express my individuality while embodying its spirit.”
Indeed, Bulgari’s legacy is full of Silver Screen stars. Founded in 1884 in Rome by Sotirio Bulgari, the jewellery house became renowned for its opulent designs, which championed daring silhouettes and colourful gemstones.
The Swinging Sixties heralded the rise of Italy’s golden age of moviemaking at Rome’s famed Cinecittà studios, and local celebrities like Gina Lollobrigida, Sophia Loren and Anna Magnani flocked to Bulgari’s boutique on Via dei Condotti for precious jewels set with diamonds and ornamental stones, such as coral and lapis lazuli.

Then, in 1962, the jewellery-loving superstar Elizabeth Taylor was photographed on the set of Cleopatra wearing her own diamond-encrusted Bulgari Serpenti watch – a flexible tubogas design the house had pioneered from the late 1940s. As the first Hollywood actress to receive a $1 million dollar salary for her role in the epic film, Taylor’s every movement garnered fervid media coverage, and a heady combination of spiralling production budgets, as well as Taylor’s burgeoning affair with her co-star, Richard Burton (who later quipped, once they were married, that “the only Italian word Elizabeth knows is Bulgari”) ensured her picture – and her Serpenti watch – made global headlines.
Since then, Bvlgari’s name has been synonymous with the glamour of Hollywood events. The maker frequently dresses stars for the red carpet, including its ambassadors Zendaya, Anne Hathaway and Priyanka Chopra Jonas – the latter two even helped Bulgari to secretly launch its 2026 jewellery collection on the Oscars’ walk up earlier this year.

With Florence Pugh’s year set to be her busiest yet – she’s set to appear in the highly anticipated releases of East of Eden, in which she both produces and stars, plus Dune: Part Three and Avengers: Doomsday – there will be plenty of opportunities for Bvlgari to sparkle alongside her on the red carpet in the months to come.
