Roger Federer has turned heads ahead of Watches and Wonders 2025 by wearing the unreleased Rolex Land-Dweller. The tennis icon and long-time Rolex ambassador was photographed sporting the yet-to-be-released watch in a series of pictures posted to Instagram, sparking major interest among fans and watch lovers alike.
Federer’s new stainless steel Rolex Land-Dweller will officially debut on April 1 at Watches and Wonders in Geneva. Inspired by the clean, sleek design of the vintage Oysterquartz, the watch appears to feature a stylish flat Jubilee bracelet, a refined silver dial, and an open case-back, a unique choice for Rolex, known for traditionally closed backs.

Every year, Rolex releases teaser videos before Watches and Wonders, setting off waves of speculation. This year’s teaser was simpler than usual, however observers quickly noticed details suggesting Rolex was finally introducing an integrated sports watch, a category popularised by brands like Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe.
The teaser showed a slimmer, flatter case clearly designed for an integrated bracelet. The bracelet itself combines elements of Rolex’s famous Jubilee with the modern style of the iconic Royal Oak. Notably, it also features a hidden crown clasp, previously only seen on Rolex’s prestigious Presidential bracelets.
Federer wearing the watch publicly before its official reveal is undoubtedly a bold statement from Rolex. With Watches & Wonders just days away, excitement continues to build around what might become one of Rolex’s most significant launches in years.
