Tom Holland has quietly become one of the biggest watch guy’s out there. Whether it’s red carpets or one of his countless appearances at high-profile sporting events, the current Spider-Man knows his horology. And he has taste.
He very much likes Rolex (who doesn’t?) but also has a lot of space in his collection for Cartier, especially with a leather strap. In fact, looking at his collection, Holland who is only around 5’7″, appears to strongly prefer smaller pieces with fabric straps, which are kinder to svelter wrists.
As he’s currently starring in The Odyssey and with Spider-Man: Brand New Day released this week, Holland is the most watched actor in the world right now and with all those press events for the star to flaunt his watch collection. Below, we’ve taken a look at five of Holland’s best watches from his extensive stockpile.
Rolex Cosmograph Daytona
Tom Holland loves his Rolex Daytona. Accompanying him on the mammoth Odyssey press tour, this Daytona also had a recent outing at a Spider-Man press event in Germany and was centre stage when Holland attended Wimbledon last year. This model was launched in 2023 and features an evocative icy blue dial and custom diamond indices. Given it costs in excess of £70,000, it’s good to see he’s getting some use out of it.
Tag Heuer Glassbox Carrera
Stopping by the Monaco Grand Prix, it’s only right that Holland sported a Tag Heuer. But what is surprising is that he was seen wearing a Glassbox Carrera over the brand’s Monaco model. A re-imagining of the famous Carrera face, the Glassbox is an updated version of the 1960’s design, featuring no numbers on the dial and a black ceramic bezel. The perfect watch for a weekend on the French Riviera, hobnobbing with F1’s finest.
Cartier Tank Américaine
The Cartier Tank is having a moment but Holland was on the hype before everyone else, wearing an Américaine version of the iconic watch at the GQ Men of the Year party in Los Angeles. Featuring a curved case that is meant to hug the wrist, the Tank offers unparalleled class without becoming overbearing and still retains its vintage aesthetic. Holland appears to be a big fan of Cartier pieces as he has also been seen wearing a Santos and a Drive de Cartier.
Patek Philippe Aquanaut
Appearing at the London premiere of Pixar movie, Onward, Holland was seen wearing a 20th anniversary Aquanaut based on a model launched in 1997. A very chunky watch, especially for Holland’s dainty wrists, the 42mm piece features a blue rubber strap on a white gold case and despite being a dive watch, Holland suitably turned it into a sophisticated red carpet item that matched his navy blazer. If you can get your hands on one, it will set you back £30,000.
Piaget Altiplano Skeleton
At the 2018 Oscars, Holland opted for a Piaget Altiplano Skeleton, which true to the brand’s form, is an ultra-thin piece that costs around $60,000. An elegant choice for Hollywood’s biggest night, Holland has also proved himself a fan of the brand’s jewellery, gifting Zendaya a Piaget gold and diamond necklace for Valentine’s Day in 2019.
