Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, paid a subtle tribute to Queen Elizabeth II at her state funeral with pearl earrings given to her by the late monarch.

Attending the emotional event with Prince Harry, Meghan opted for a glittering pair of pearl-and-diamond drop earrings gifted to her by the Queen in honour of her first royal engagement. She coordinated the jewellery with an all-black cape sleeve dress from Stella McCartney and a matching wide-brimmed Dior hat.

Meghan first debuted the earrings back in 2018 when she visited Chester to open the new Mersey Gateway Bridge.

Opting for minimalist-minded accessories, Meghan paired the pearls with her favourite Cartier Love bracelet in yellow gold and her stacked diamond wedding bands, ensuring the beautiful earrings truly stood out.
