Taylor Swift wore 43.22 carats of Chopard diamonds last night (17th October) on the red carpet at the sixth Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. All the pieces were from Chopard’s high jewellery collection. The large cascading ‘chandelier’ earrings are set in platinum with 32.40 carats of diamonds and an 18kt white gold ring set with 5.78 carats of diamonds and a platinum delicate set diamond bracelet with 5.04 carats of diamonds.
For her performance of I Knew It, I Knew You she changed her dress and jewellery, once again switching to Cartier. She wore a high jewellery necklace in platinum set with a sapphire and diamonds, together with Cartier Destinée sleeper earrings in 18kt white gold and diamonds and Destinée stud earrings in sapphires and diamonds.

Her engagement ring, an Old-mine cut diamond of at least 8 carats which was given to her by her husband Travis Kelce was also firmly on her finger. She was recently photographed on the Patient Zero artwork wearing a new ring, before the $1 million valued engagement ring made a reappearance at the VMA’s at the end of September.

She combined the Chopard diamonds with an icy blue Dior dress with a strapless neckline, softly gathered bodice with a sparkling bow and full length skirt. Jonathan Anderson’s creations are now a firm favourite of Swift’s, she confirmed her wedding dress, made earlier this year, was created by the Irish designer.
This was the sixth Academy Museum Gala, a major fundraising event the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and raises money for their educational programmes, exhibitions and film preservation. The gala was co-chaired by Tom Ford, Robert Rodriguez, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw with Rolex as exclusive partner, who have long term ties with film and filmmakers including Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorcese. John Carpenter, Colman Domingo and Charlize Theron all received awards on the night.
Swift performed her song I Knew It, I Knew You the theme song from Toy Story 5. Swift has recently been pictured wearing Cartier, two weeks ago she wore pieces from the French Maison when appearing on Saturday Night Live with Dakota Johnson two weeks ago. Swift also wore Cartier for her wedding in July.
Swift’s jewellery choices increasingly seem to reference Old Hollywood. In May this year she wore a suite of jewellery previously owned by Elizabeth Taylor. The pieces were from Darlene de Sedle, made from 22kt gold, opals and diamonds, including chandelier earrings, a ring and bracelet.
