Renowned for her quirky creations, Nadine Ghosn has designed a sparkling dog tag for Drake, a (vegetarian) burger ring for Pharrell Williams and ‘Shut Up’ earrings for Beyoncé. Now, it appears Ed Sheeran is the latest jewellery-loving musician who thinks Ghosn’s playful accessories are simply ‘Perfect‘.
Taking to the stage in Zurich this week, the British singer showed off a chic wrist stack that included a custom white ceramic Audemars Piguet watch and one of Nadine Ghosn’s covetable new ‘Crayola’ bangles.
Inspired by the nostalgic power of the iconic wax crayons, as well as their ability to help unleash a child’s creativity, Ghosn debuted her precious collection with Crayola just last year – the first high-end collaboration for the brand.
With the signature skill that has seen her transform everything from bike chains to drinking straws and pasta forks into covetable jewels, the award-winning designer transformed Crayola’s stationery into brushed gold bangles set with coloured hardstone ‘tips’ and embossed with a black enamelled logo. The pieces were also customisable, available in any number of colour combinations and finishes, allowing clients’ imaginations to run free. Ghosn’s first Crayola customer? Rapper Lil Yachty, who opted for a light blue crayon bangle to wear alongside his gemstone-leaded ‘pencil’ bangle.
Speaking to Something About Rocks after the concert, Ghosn said, “We customised a piece together. It is always so special to have extremely talented individuals appreciate my work and even more special to see him in my favourite city performing and sporting the piece.” Rather than yellow gold, Sheeran chose an 18k brushed white gold version of the bangle, tipped with blue lapis lazuli.

Ghosn took to social media to post a picture taken backstage with Sheeran, both wearing their matching Crayola bangles. “Words cannot articular the joy and gratitude I experienced yesterday, hanging with Ed, seeing Crayola on [the] big screen – listening to his beautiful nostalgic songs (that guided me through some of my hardest days) surrounded by friends in my favourite city – moments like these are priceless,” she wrote in the caption. “Ed’s energy is 100! A beautiful soul.”
