First, Lana Del Rey dropped a surprise single, ‘First Light’, to serve as the title theme for the highly-anticipated adventure game.
Now in a case of life imitating digital art, Swiss watch titan OMEGA has announced it will be releasing a brand new timepiece that appears on Bond’s wrist in 007 First Light, so fans of the franchise can wear it in real life.

The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300m Chronograph appears throughout the new First Light game – albeit with a few extra amenities from Q, including a hacking device capable of disrupting electronic equipment and a powerful laser strap.
While OMEGA won’t be adding any laser beams to the real-life OMEGA Diver 300m (shame), it has brought the timepiece design into its core James Bond watch collection, making it the first-ever chronograph in the history of the James Bond Seamaster Diver 300m collection.

Created in a 44mm size with stainless steel, the real watch features a black ceramic dial with laser-engraved waves, and a sub-dial ring at the 3 o’clock position finished in PVD bronze gold. There’s also a black ceramic bezel ring with a white enamelled diving scale, polished black ceramic pushers and rhodium-plated indices filled with Super-LumiNova for excellent clarity in the dark.
The new Diver 300m also brings into focus an exclusive NATO strap inspired by the design elements of the video game. Its black, grey and beige stripes are an Easter Egg-like nod to the OMEGA watch worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in the 2021 film, No Time To Die (and later sold at auction to raise funds for charity).
Wearers can also choose from six other potential NATO strap choices, each modelled after different straps that are playable within First Light.
What’s more, each Diver 300m will be delivered inside a special presentation box, inspired by the suitcase that carries the OMEGA watches the game.

This isn’t the first time a real timepiece has been released following its appearance on screen in a video game. In 2021, Hamilton released the Khaki Field Titanium Automatic Far Cry 6 that appeared on the first of Dani Rojas in Ubisoft’s action game, Far Cry 6. Last year, the same maker also released a limited-edition wristwatch inspired by the futuristic world seen in the critically acclaimed Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
In another crossover in 2023, games giant SEGA partnered with watchmaker Anicorn to reimagine the iconic SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis console as a limited-edition watch, tapping into the design that revolutionised the gaming landscape of the early 1990s.
Created in collaboration with IO interactive and Amazon MGM Studios, 007 First Light officially launches worldwide on May 27th, 2026 and revolves around a standalone origin story of a young James Bond.
And while the world still waits (and waits) for news of who will take up Daniel Craig’s mantle as the next 007, at least we know what he might just be wearing on his wrist when he finally appears.
